Young Carers Practitioner - Charity - Permanent PositionOur Client is a well established Charity seeking a Young Carers Practitioner to join their team in North London. This permanent, full time position that will provide assessments, support and advocacyto young carers located across Camden and Islington. As a Practitioner your role will be to access the needs of young carers and their families to provide both individual and whole family support. You achieve this by visiting carers and their families at homeand in community settings (such as schools and youth clubs). In order to ensure that the negative impacts of caring are reduced, you will advocate on behalf of young carers, build confidence and resilience and sign post onto other support networks. In orderto raise awareness and identify young carers you will support other teams/social care professionals in recognising and responding to the needs of young carers in their own setting. To be considered you must have a recognised qualification in Social Care and have worked within a Children and Families Social Care setting.
