We are looking for a skilled communications practitioner to join our established Communications Team, supporting delivery of effective and impactful communications and marketing campaigns that raise awareness of

CPSL Mind’s services and mental health promotion goals. In particular, our new Communications and Marketing Officer will lead on:

- Promotion of our multi-faceted Good Life Service across

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

**Main**:

- Start-to-finish development and distribution of CPSL Mind’s quarterly

**Objective **e-bulletin, taking a targeted approach to increasing engagement.

They will also work with the wider team to:

- Create innovative, accurate comms content and assets for use across a variety of platforms.
- Support individuals who have accessed our services to tell their stories either via written word or video content.
- Create and co-ordinate local media opportunities for the wider organisation.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**

**Promotion of our multi-faceted Good Life Service across Cambridgeshire and**

**Peterborough**:

- Liaise closely with colleagues in our Good Life Service to initiate, plan and implement ideas to promote the service.
- Keep abreast of Good Life Service activities within the organisation and wider community, integrating them into our messages and comms.
- Attend occasional Good Life Service-related events, capturing content and case studies.
- Arrange materials to distribute to relevant audiences, including design and print.

**Start-to-finish development and distribution of CPSL Mind’s quarterly e-bulletin, taking a**

**targeted approach to increasing engagement**:

- Lead e-bulletin editorial meetings with Heads of Services to discuss and prioritise content.
- Write and design quarterly e-bulletin, incorporating content and images, with links to our website.
- Distribution of e-bulletin via blackbaud CRM database.
- On-going analysis and performance review of open rates to maximise and increase engagement.

**Create innovative, accurate comms content and assets for use across a variety of**

**platforms**:

- Proactively support and promote all CPSL Mind services by writing regular, excellent, clear, accurate and engaging mental health-related copy for a variety of channels and targeted audiences - including CPSL Mind’s website, video content and case studies.
- Plan, design and produce excellent assets for social media, leaflets, posters, and videos using software such as Adobe Premier Pro and Canva.

**Support individuals who have accessed our services to tell their stories either via written**

**word or video content**:

- Liaise with Service Managers to identify individuals who have accessed our services and are willing to share their story to highlight impact.
- Arrange and conduct interviews to produce case studies, including video content, always ensuring sensitivity and compassion.
- Ensuring necessary consent forms are completed.

**Create and co-ordinate local media opportunities for the wider organisation.**
- Liaise and build relationships with local radio stations (PCRFM, Radio Cambs) to explore opportunities to utilise CPSL Mind’s media group to highlight and illustrate our work.
- Write press releases, arrange press interviews and work with the Communications Team on wider media plans.
