Job Title: Project Liaison Engineer
The Liaison Engineer will ensure that the aircraft maintenance Statement of Work (SOW) Proposals and Inputs are fully co-ordinated form maintenance request through estimation to maintenance execution and provide a project management overview of the entire SOWthroughout.
The Liaison engineer will work closely with the Technical Support Team and Commercial Teams to give high level project overviews.
The Liaison Engineer will manage maintenance projects to contract terms, schedule, budget and standards and will provide reports to the management team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage with the customer to ensure that they meet their contractual obligations.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to understand the defined labour, materials and other associated cost drivers.
- Ensure receive the completed customer SOW with accurate technical content in the required timescales.
- Provide the link between the customer as required to resolve any issues including Engineering, Spares and Tooling.
- Meet with MRO leadership throughout aircraft inputs to review performance against plan.
- Produce check reports and performance metrics on a defined schedule. Including a post check report highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement recovery plans where required with the MRO in order to meet key milestones.
- Ensure prior to any aircraft input that all tooling and equipment is provided, fully serviceable, and on-site personnel are fully trained to use the tooling and equipment.
- Ensure any additional work the is fully justified prior to Additional Service Request (ASR) approval.
- Undertake any other reasonable activity to ensure success of the maintenance inputs being performed.
- Identify and champion continuous improvement initiatives to ensure integration between other stakeholders both internal and external.

**Qualifications**:

- Have will have airline/MRO experience with maintenance of aircraft types including accessing on-line documents.
- Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance regulations and standards.
- Experience in managing performance-based aircraft maintenance contracts is highly desirable.
- Occasional travel may be required at short notice.
- This requisition is for an international, locally hired position.
Overview

Coordinates and monitors materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipmentrequisitioning, receipt, and allocation.
