Protos are an independently owned flexible packaging manufacturer based in Sharpness. We've been operating for over 30 years, with a wide variety of clients sized from owner/manager type businesses to blue chip companies servicing industries from food to pharmaceuticals.

Your role will be to join an established team of packaging manufacturing machine operators in a fast-paced environment - reporting to your Department Leader or the Operations Manager.

We have many staff members serving for over 15 years and look forward to welcoming new members to the closely-knit and focused team.

**Requirements**:

- Meet production targets set;
- Ensure products meet set quality standards;
- Work in accordance with issued Work Instruction for each processing machine;
- Comply with Health & Safety Guidelines;
- Work as a member of a team;
- Report any problems or issues to the Operations Manager;
- Comply with all Company rules with regards to clocking in/out procedures, start/finish times and break times;
- Comply with Company Personal Hygiene Policy;
- Help to reduce waste by working vigilantly and seeking assistance if required;
- Wear personal protective equipment issued;
- Have a flexible attitude and be prepared to train on and operate other processing machines if required;
- Complete any tasks requested that are commensurate with the position of Production Operative.

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Berkeley, GL13 9UQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machine Operators: 1 year (preferred)
