Senior Finance Helpdesk Officer

The Senior Finance Helpdesk Officer will work within the Finance Helpdesk to provide support for a number of activities related to the Finance Helpdesk including communications within and outside of the Directorate of Finance. This includes the maintenance of the finance website, directorate contact lists and team structures, the development and delivery of finance training (systems and general), maintaining finance documents, preparation of the monthly finance newsletter, reporting on power BI for access control to the travel management system and other management information on a timely basis.
The post holder will be a key member of the team responsible for managing a first level support team supporting both Finance and non-Finance staff. The person will manage a small team and be responsible for delivering the support service to a high standard and meeting the requirements of service level agreements on response times and deadlines.
The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining the content within the University documents repository which specifically relates to the Directorate of Finance and includes Policies, Procedures and Guidance and scheduling reviews as appropriate.
