Machine Operator - Food/FMCG

**Salary**: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 - 45 hours per week

Job details: Fulltime, permanent - Nottingham, NG2 1RW

Holidays: 33 days per year

**The Role**:
As Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in our food production facility. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety regulations will be crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production processes.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who thrives in a fast paced working environment, is very comfortable working with machinery and has a passion for detail driven problem solving.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring their smooth operations using strong mechanical aptitude.
- Conduct regular quality control checks, maintaining consistent output that meets production targets.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Completing machine set-ups and changeovers for different production runs.
- Strict adherence to all safety regulations and SOPs.
- Keeping detailed records of machine productivity, utilising data collection to generate reports that identify areas for improvement and optimise production.

- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
