The Growth Company’s Education and skills team have an exciting new opportunity for a Tutor who will develop, promote, deliver and assess training in order to maximise learning outcomes for GM residents focusing on life skills which include numeracy under the GM Multiply Scheme.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop materials and training courses designed to develop nummary and maths skills in daily and work life including lesson plans and scheme of work etc
- Promote courses and recruit in order to maximise occupancy levels
- Deliver both group and one-to-one intervention(s) following induction and assessment
- Deliver a wide range of training courses in groups and one to one interventions
- Deliver high quality, engaging training to encourage learners to attend, stay on programme and achieve and move onto progression outcomes including accredited provision
- Manage the safe evacuation of students in the event of fire or other emergency, following agreed company procedures and ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Complete contractual paperwork in line with compliance frameworks
- Carry out associated Administration work including report writing, collecting and analysing management information, evaluating service delivery and audit and review of records

**About you**
- Fun and engaging delivery style
- Minimum PTTLS or equivalent - as require a qualified Tutor
- Minimum level 2 in Maths as they will deliver up to Level 1
- Willingness to undertake level 5 teaching Maths Functional Skills (if not achived)
- Excellent knowledge of training and qualification frameworks
- Good knowledge of customer base and needs
- Good knowledge of additional learning needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ESOL etc
- A warm, approachable style to delivery is required in order to build relationships and rapport with customers
- A flexible approach to location and courses delivered

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver engaging training sessions
- Plan and organise workload effectively
- Ability to develop training materials including lesson plans, resources and PowerPoint presentations etc
- IT skills including the ability to use technology to support learning delivery
- Ability to work with challenging customer groups
- Capability to deliver a wide range of training courses suitable for Multiply contract
- Recent experience of delivering training in groups to customers with a wide range of needs and barriers
- Experience of working with long-term unemployed customers
- Experience in providing robust and informative IAG

**This role requires the successful person to hold a driving licence as you will need to travel across the Greater Manchester region. Also, some evening work will be required.**

- 8 hour shift
