**UK Based Applicants Team Leader - Residential Childcare**

**£11.85-12.85 per hour, 40 hours week** including sleeps
**Full Time, Permanent Role**

As **Team Leader** you will assist in day-to-day support and care for young people in the home. You will maintain a high-quality standard of care to ensure the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the young person are met. You will provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which the children can feel secure and develop their potential within.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with young people, colleagues and professionals
- Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes
- Experience of and ability to lead staff teams to provide a high level of care within a residential childcare setting
- Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork, keeping this up to date and organized including care plans and employees’ record keeping is updated
- Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
- Up to date knowledge of the current legislation governing the sector

To be considered for this role you must obtain a NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and have a valid UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle. You will be required to complete sleep ins and work on a shift pattern basis. The shifts are 2:4.
