Estimator - Facilities Management (Hard Services)

**We are seeking an experienced estimator to work on a number of long-term prestigious framework contracts. You will be part of a team providing commercial support to secure and deliver planned and reactive maintenance works across a number of contracts throughout the UK.**

**Location: Belfast**

**Hours Per Week**:
**Monday - Friday 40 Hours**

**Job Type: Permanent / Full Time**

**The Estimator will be responsible for**:

- Attending all necessary strategy, commercial and bid finalisation meetings along with the bid team and input into commercial & risk management decisions.
- Management of commercial tender process ensuring all key delivery dates are achieved.
- Review and evaluate client specifications and tender documents to ensure all commercial bids are fully compliant with client requirements.
- Development of pricing schedules in line with client output requirements.
- Accurately quantify asset information data and evaluate labour & material in accordance with contract specifications, industry best practice, ACOP and compliant standards.
- Accurately evaluate project costs whilst focusing on commercial success and profitability.
- Value engineer projects to meet or exceed the client’s requirements.
- Supply chain engagement and commercial negotiations, whilst ensure overall best possible value for money, service delivery, quality and standards.
- Ability to meet deadlines and experience of delivering minor works and major planned projects.
- Delivery of accurate tender assessments for presentation to the bid finalisation group.

**About You**:
**Essential Criteria**
- A minimum NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or electrical trade qualification or HNC/HND building services qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years’ Experience working in a similar role.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, excel & Word.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of statutory maintenance and SFG20 maintenance standards.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of maintenance planners and the coordination of services and providers.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience working on Measured Term Contracts.
- Experience in asset validation and understanding of various Mechanical and Electrical asset types, conditions, and grading.
- Experienced in the use of asset management software and systems.
