**STOREPERSON**

**£25,000 - £28,000***

**PURPOSE OF POSITION** **To ensure that GCU Assets (materials, plant and consumables) are managed in and out of the Depot in accordance with GCU Work Procedures.

**KEY DUTIES***
- Key owner of GCU Stock Management Process; Goods In/ Goods Out
- Operation of SAGE Stock system
- Conduct of formal monthly stock count and weekly anomaly checks
- Management of float for key operational consumables
- Key person manning the Service Desk/ Goods In Area
- Ensure that Stores Areas are ordered, clean and tidy preventing slips, trips and falls within the area
- Follow GCU HS Policies and applicable processes

**QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to use Microsoft Office Package - including basic Excel
- Familiar with computerised stock management packages
- Experience in a stores environment (construction/ telecom desirable)
- Able to work independently
- Capable of communicating with Operational Gangs/ Service Desk
