Principal Structural Engineer - Bristol | £50,000 - £65,000 (Based on experience)

We are a recruiting for a Principal Structural Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. The successful Principal Structural Engineer will be working on a wide range of building structure projects across the residential, commercial, health, education, and defence sectors. You can expect to work on complex projects to BIM Level 2 standards and collaboratewith talented construction professionals across all disciplines.
Requirements for this Principal Structural Engineer position include;
- BEng/MEng Civil or Structural Engineering degree
- Experience using relevant software e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA Engineer and Cads A3D max.
- The confidence and ability to commercially lead projects.
- Experience working as a Structural Engineer in a similar consultancy environment will be needed
- Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE would be preferred, or they can help you get there if you are progressing
- Structural design experience and structural analysis skills in all common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Capable of working with the relevant engineering design software
- All the other usual communication and presentation skills will be important as you will be representing the company while directly liaising with clients and helping to grow the business.
