Jewel Home Support is one of the largest independent providers of care and support for people of Bolton and Surrounding areas in their own home.

**Job Opportunity**:
Care Assistant - experienced

At Jewel Home Support our aim is to be committed to delivering quality and personalised care while working closely with the service users and their family. We are an approved provider for the NHS and Bolton Council and provide care services for the borough of Bolton.

**The care worker’s role will include**
- Assisting with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility assistance)
- Assisting with meal preparations
- Assisting with administering medication
- Assisting with moving and handling
- Working to care plans and completing daily paperwork
- Assisting with shopping and support to access the community
- Assisting with light domestic duties

**Job Types**

Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent

We offer part 16 - 25 hours per week or full time contracts 40 / 48 hours per week

**Essential Skills**:
**Skills required as a care worker**
- Self-motivated
- Organised
- Flexible
- Caring and sensitive to the needs of service users
- Team player but also be able to work on your own initiative

**Driving License**

Preferable - however, non-drivers will be considered for walking routes depending on experience.
