**About The Role**:
Location:Ipswich

Saturday and Sunday
Shift Pattern Start 07:00 Shift Pattern End: 14:30

Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2025. Shifts 7am to 2.45pm Saturday and Sunday

1.2 Overall Purpose of the role
Assist with a range food and beverage service activities on the wards. Main aim will be to carry out a range of catering duties, ensuring a high-quality service is provided at all times.
Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.

1.3 Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
Assisting with food preparation / probing food for temperature / completing due diligence paperwork
Dishing up food and drinks on the ward to patients
Replacing / refilling of water jugs
Assist with collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery and trays
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for the next shift
Ordering stock and filling up
Report broken equipment to supervisor

2.2 Professional Qualifications
Food Hygiene Certificate at National Level 1 - preferred but not essential as training will be given

2.3 Experience
Experience in catering role
Good customer service skills
Use of tablet is desirable but training will be provided

2.4 Personal Characteristics/Attributes for the role
Teamwork skills
Good time management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail

2.5 Personal Characteristics/Attributes for the Health & Safety aspects of the role
1. Ability to follow policy and procedures
2. Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels
