We are currently recruiting for a Key Worker Support Worker to work in various locations supporting children & their families in crisis in St Helens

Overview:

- Title: Key Worker
- Pay: £24k - £26k
- Location: St Helens
- Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

The role:
What you’ll be doing as a Key Worker
- To work with children, young people and their families, on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to achieve positive outcomes. - To work in partnership with parents/carers to empower them and to enable them to achieve better outcomes for their children. - To work cooperatively with children’s services, health agencies and other community based services, to provide the most effective service for children, young people and families.

Build relationships and support coordination across the system, including Health, Education and Social Care - Hold services across the system to account where action plans are in place or actions have been agreed - Facilitate and strengthen effective multi-agency partnerships - Communicate clearly with the child, young person and their family to help them understand and navigate the system, for example conveying complex legal and medical information around Tier 4 admissions in a clear accessible way.

What you’ll need to be successful as a Key Worker
- A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
- At least 6 months experience of working with children
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
