**Department Description**

**In this position your key responsibilities will be**:

- Supporting our underwriting teams in managing risk portfolios
- Analysis of company accounts across a variety of UK trade sectors
- Maintaining our exposure databases
- Reporting of Management information to Senior Managers
- Researching information sources for non-financial company information
- Attending and recording high level Credit Committee and other risk forums
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to use the internet and other sources of information as research tools
- Accurate data entry skills
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and able to discuss business issues with senior management
- Knowledge of financial statements is desirable
- An interest in commerce and international trade would be an advantage.

This role is based at our Cardiff Bay Headquarters (with homeworking permitted for up to two days a week upon completion of basic training).
