**Job Description: Mental Health Support Worker**

**Overview**:
ProMedical is currently recruiting experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our esteemed NHS & Private client in Preston. Due to increased demand, we are offering both day and night shifts, allowing for flexible scheduling in advance. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to provide compassionate care and meaningful support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide person-centred support to service users with a range of mental health needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks, emotional support, and therapeutic engagement.
- Monitor service user wellbeing, recognising changes in behaviour or mental state.
- Support the implementation of care plans in collaboration with nursing and clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality in line with NHS & Private policies.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Mental Health Support Worker or similar role.
- Understanding of mental health conditions and experience in de-escalation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to cover day and night shifts as required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
