Junior Team Leader - Critical Balances & Cost Management
**Job Description Summary**

Cushman and Wakefield are looking for an experience individual to join their Cost Management and Critical Balance division as a Team Lead.

The purpose of this role will be to manage and support the invoice processing team with the daily operation of validating and processing invoices. You will play a critical role in ensuring the proactive chasing of back-up documentation/responses across multiple clients to minimise volumes of held invoices.

**Responsibilities of the job-holder**:

- Managing the team to ensure tasks are undertaken and delivered
- Enable the team to meet defined performance targets in relation to ad hoc invoice processing, Service Charge Reconciliation & Budget Reviews
- Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with external and internal clients, colleagues and management
- Carry out approvals to service charge budget review and ad hoc invoices processed by team in line with cut-offs in accordance with funding regime
- Minimise invoice volumes for held invoices
- Liaising with suppliers, managing agents and other 3rd parties to obtain legal documentation in relation to invoice queries
- Carry out appropriate tenant recharge calculations on time and in line with supporting legal
- To provide advice / support to other team members to enable and ensure their contribution to outputs and adherence to procedures
- Ensuring client requirements and Cushman & Wakefield quality procedures are followed
- Collaboration with other departments (Data, AP, AR, Estate Management)
- Supplier query management
- Internal and external audit support
- Ad hoc reporting upon request
- Preparing monthly / quarterly reports & KPI reports (multiple clients)
- Working closely with IT to improve systems and make the most of automation for matching, processing, and query resolution
- Development, training and support for a team of 7 and conducting regular team 1-1’s
- Working with senior management of other departments to create efficient, robust processes and systems
- Resolve queries, identifying root causes, proposing, and implementing the necessary changes to prevent recurring issues

**Required skills**:

- Experience in finance processing or real estate operation
- Strong IT literacy, Intermediate MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Hands on, experienced Team Leader with a strong background in motivating team
- Ability to problem-solve, multi-task and prioritise within a fast paced and changing business environment
- Attention to detail and strong with numbers
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage own workload whilst assisting the team
- Be able to thrive in and contribute to our journey of transformation
- Able to own an issue until the problem has been resolved
- Process driven
