JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Luton, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Mechanic to join their team.

This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This vacancy is available due to business turnovers.

This is a Permanent Position based in Luton.

Working 5/5/4 night shift pattern.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.

Other Duties Involve

- Observing and adhering to the company tooling policy at all times

- Maintaining awareness and ensuring best practices are observed for health & safety and human factors

- Ensuring all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the MOE

- Notifying the company of any significant findings as soon as possible

- Raising a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident

In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

- Line maintenance experience on commercial aircraft

- A valid diploma/apprenticeship or equivalent

- Right to work in the UK
