**Compliance Officer (Carbon Specialist)**

As a Carbon Specialist, you will be providing specialist technical support on net zero carbon, whole life carbon management and carbon reduction. You will work in collaboration with colleagues to ensure net zero carbon objectives and project commitments relating to carbon emissions are delivered and timescales are met with value for money at the forefront of all decisions.

About the role
- Support the Compliance Director in the development and implementation of the Carbon Management System and carbon reduction requirements
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure carbon requirements are clearly defined and well understood
- Enable effective and efficient delivery of net zero carbon objectives and commitments relating to carbon emissions
- Prepare detailed carbon footprint report in accordance with the GHG Protocol, IPCC Standards, and ISO 14064-1:2018.
- Communicating, creating awareness and educating all stakeholders on carbon related matters

About You:
Experience of implementing net zero carbon, carbon management and carbon reduction principles within complex and medium to high-risk projects

Experience of delivering successful outcomes with complex stakeholders

Suitable qualifications, experience, and education to demonstrate understanding of net zero carbon, carbon management and carbon reduction principles.

Knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation, technical guidance, industry standards and best practice in relation to net zero carbon, carbon management and carbon reduction.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical specialists, non-technical project managers and technical stakeholders.

Ability to technically assess and review carbon management deliverables submitted by contractors.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
