**About the Role**

We’re looking for **experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistants** to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the care team, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and homely environment. You’ll support **both residents and colleagues**, helping to maintain a positive, respectful, and caring atmosphere.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Deliver high-quality, person-centred care** - Assist residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility support, and emotional well-being.
- **Lead by example** - Provide guidance and support to care assistants, ensuring best practices are followed.
- **Administer medications** - Safely manage and administer medication in line with company policies and procedures.
- **Support residents’ well-being** - Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition, and communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare professionals.
- **Maintain a safe and homely environment** - Assist with light cleaning tasks to ensure a comfortable, welcoming space for residents.
- **Record-keeping and reporting** - Maintain accurate care records and communicate updates to management and healthcare professionals.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Previous experience in a care role** - A background in social care is essential.
- **SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care** (or willingness to work towards it).
- Experience in **medication administration** is desirable.
- **Leadership skills** - Ability to support and mentor care assistants.
- A compassionate, patient, and professional approach.
