Edmundson are looking for a minimum of 6 graduates to join their head office team within their accounting, auditing and systems departments.
As a Graduate Trainee Accountant you will learn how the accounting world works whilst gaining **CIMA qualification in business accounting** This is something you will study during the first 4 years of your employment and will be fully funded by Edmundson Electrical.
**So what will your day to day duties consist of?**
- Supporting the preparation of month-end/year-end management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Corporation tax analysis
- Preparation of VAT return
- P&L and balance sheet variance analysis
- Fixed asset accounting
- Supplier rebate/Customer rebate accounting
- Authorisation of payments to third parties
You will liaise on a daily basis with other departments and trading locations across Edmundson Electrical businesses as a whole and must feel comfortable speaking with a variety of people, querying things that may not appear correct and questioning accounts(mainly done over the phone).

- Educated to degree level
- Well presented and willing to work in an office environment of professionals
- Commutable to Knutsford Head Office 5 days a week
- Preferably have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Ability to hit tight deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail

- £28,000 Base Salary
