Sales Estimator

Chiltern Marble is looking for a motivated, driven person to join their sales team.
A Sales Estimator will be required to submit detailed, methodically prepared and competitive cost estimates in order to successfully win contracts for the Company.
Applicants will need to possess a positive attitude, and will be expected to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and sales skills, as well as showing drive and initiative while at work.
The ability to work successfully in a team and have very strong people skills is essential, as the Sales Estimator will have to liaise closely with clients in order to determine their needs.
The Sales Estimator will need to prepare thorough, well-written estimates for each client, and will need to demonstrate basic mathematics skills and read building plans and design drawings.
Chiltern Marble are looking for a person to display some evidence of the following attributes:
- Thorough and with a good attention to detail
- Self-starter with good time management
- Strong teamworking skills
- Good personal administration skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Strong problem solving skills
- Math knowledge
- Good aptitude with excel and similar software and the ability to learn new software quickly
As your skills become more developed, the Sales Estimator will be given the opportunity for further development to Senior Sales Estimator.
Dynamic individuals can further progress to Sales Manager or other management roles and will be provided with training and mentoring.
