Founded in 1975, Luddon Construction Ltd has steadily expanded and diversified to become one of the leading privately owned construction companies in the UK employing over 500 people.

Due to increased business activity we are looking for an experienced General Foreman/woman to **work** within our **Building division** on projects in **Dundee, Tayside, Inverness, Elgin and Central Belt.**
- As General Foreman/woman you will be generally assisting the Site Manager with the execution of his duties but specifically to ensure the following:

- A competent workforce is used on all tasks on the site, to include sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Good health and safety practices are adhered to on site, again to include sub-contractors.
- To assist in the procurement of plant, materials and labour which permit the contract to run efficiently in terms of cost and programme.
- Timesheets and HAVS records and other forms are diligently completed and submitted timeously.
- Works are completed to an excellent quality standard
- To complete site paperwork such as site diaries, goods received notices are completed clearly and accurately

As General Foreman you will bring the following qualifications, skill and experience:
**Essential**
- CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Certificate.
- CSCS Gold (Supervisor) Card.
- Previous experience as a foreman or related role
- Worked on building and civil engineering projects
- Has a trade background related to the work we carry out
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Has worked on building and civil engineering projects
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to continued professional development
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with other staff and Clients.

**Desirable**
- CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate.
- CSCS Black (Manager) Card
