Joining this forward thinking insurance provider will allow you to expand your trading presence in the Birmingham market, in an empowered and creative environment.

Deployed as Trading Underwriter on a number of key broker accounts, you'll use your underwriting authority and commerciality to trade new and renewal cases, all aimed at strategic and profitable growth of the property and casualty book.

As Trading Underwriter, you will:

- Join a market leader in the insurance world, a real employer of choice and one that's part of a global group.
- Realise genuine career prospects - you'll be encouraged and supported with expanding your profile in the Birmingham market, and authorised to say 'yes' to opportunities.
- Underwrite a range of property, casualty and combined business with premiums varying from c£10,000 to well over £100,000.
- Be a senior member of a successful team.
- Enjoy increased exposure to brokers and clients in a face to face environment.
- Be well rewarded - a negotiable base salary depending on your experience and track record, probably between £35,000 - £55,000, plus outstanding corporate benefits.

You
- An experienced Underwriter seeking more from your career - more exposure, more responsibility and more autonomy yo write business.
- Comfortable in taking the lead on a number of key broker accounts, and responsible for their performance.
- A strong commercial acumen, able to build and execute strong relationships for commercial success.
