Oracle Technical Lead

**Oracle Technical Lead** **London, UK** **Full Time, Permanaent** **Sponsorship - *Not Available** This role will lead the technical support for the Oracle E-Business Suite. You will be working as part of a team delivering BAU support and projects related activities, this role will be involved in the development of interface solutions, creation and supportof workflow procedures and reporting as well as servicing ad hoc technical and support requests. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop interface solutions for inbound and outbound dataflows as well as data migrations. - Configuration of Oracle EBS in support of technical developments - Configuration and support of workflow within Oracle EBS - Creation and maintenance of PL/SQL packages - Development and maintenance of OA framework - Key technical contact within the Oracle EBS Team - Validating conceptual design and code development to ensure most efficient and best practice solutions are delivered across the team - Provide peer code reviews for developments created by other technical team members - Review and appraise functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver software solutions - Develop software that conforms to industry best practices / coding standards - Offer and provide support and assistance to colleagues where appropriate and provide system knowledge sharing - Produce detailed and thorough documentation in relation to development processes and tasks **General Responsibilities** - Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of service and implementation of global development standards - Be responsible for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility. - Ensure compliance and operational risk requirements are met (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements) - Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines. - Mentor Oracle EBS team technical resource Person Specification Experience and knowledge - Experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Analyst/Lead - Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience in: iProc, iExp PO, AP, AR, GL, FA, PA, CE, AGIS - Experience of finance process flows and double entry accounting principals - Experience of the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery - Experience of working in a lead role, either informally or in a designated role - Working within support and project delivery roles **Skills**: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience - Competent technical skills in the following: - **SQL & PL/SQL**: - **Oracle report builder & form builder**: - BI Publisher - Workflow - Alerts - AME - APEX - Design and Build interfaces - Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) - Data migration (incl. data loaders and More4Apps) - Setup migration (incl. iSetups and ConfigSnapshot) - Performance tuning - MS Office expert user - Experience of Hubble Reporting **Attributes** - Must possess "can do" attitude and be delivery focused - Open and honest communicator with the ability to interact with members of the team as well as stake holders - Ability to work on multiple projects whilst managing multiple deadline and differing priorities - Ability to self-start, identify tasks required independently to fulfil project deliverables and work as a team member - Ability to produce documentation in a clear, accurate and compelling manner - Ability to provide detailed and meaningful interpretation of information in a concise manner - Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required - Service oriented, resilient and adaptable individual with high personal accountability - Quality and control, with excellent attention to detail - Ability and experience to work efficiently in geographically distributed teams - Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
