**Support Worker - Beech Tree Farm**

**Location**:Swansea**

**Salary - Starting Rate: £11.25 per hour plus £55 per sleep in.**

**Full Time 39 hours per week.**

Priority Childcare provides real support from real people. We care for children who have support needs associated with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and work with them to help them meet their full potential and transition towards independence

Beach Tree Farm is set in an acre of land in Llangfellach, close to Swansea City Centre, with access to the Gower coast and easily accessible to the M4 and routes east and west.

Beach Tree Farm provides an environment where young people can feel safe and secure knowing that Priority Childcare will support individuals to develop emotionally, psychologically and physically and with additional therapeutic services that are deemed appropriate

**So you might be wondering what you would be doing? A typical day will include**:

- Providing high quality bespoke care to the young people we support, including keeping accurate records.
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment, and that it feels like home.
- Being a positive role model to our young people and promoting their independence through a range of activities.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
- Having fun with our young people

- Experience working with children essential
- Compassion and empathy.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work flexibly and reliably as part of a team.
- Must hold a current and valid UK driver's licence.
- A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
