**Mercedes-Benz Parts Sales Advisor**

**We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our Mallusk team on our late shift pattern to operate the internal workshop counter independently.**

**As a specialist franchise catering for Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van, we require experienced individuals to complement our existing experienced parts team.**

**The main role is to ensure every vehicle has the components it needs - when it needs them.**

**1 x 39** **hours per week,** 13:45 - 12 midnight Monday to Thursday.

**Rate of pay**:£13.15** per hour, plus shift allowance

Saturday overtime working will be on a rotational basis; 08:30 - 12:30, when competent 08:30 - 15:00 when required.

**Job Role**:

- Identifying and sourcing Mercedes-Benz vehicle parts, processing orders in a timely and accurate manner
- To handle all customers/prospective customers in a prompt, helpful and efficient manner both on the telephone and in person representative of the brand
- Communicating effectively with customers, giving product advice along with promotions and offers
- Locate unavailable items from other suppliers and arrange for delivery
- Upsell products and vehicle parts accessories
- Check deliveries of stock against delivery notes and record any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assist in stock management Assist with stock management and with general parts department duties
- Process orders and handle transactions efficiently for our inhouse team

**Essential**:

- At least one year’s experience working in a similar role within the motor industry
- IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and navigate parts catalogues
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- A good team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Commitment to delivering customer excellence

**Desirable**:

- Experience of using Kerridge/CDK or a dealer management system
