Situated in the heart of Ringwood, **The Inn On The Furlong**has an opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant. You will be a part of our fantastic kitchen team, helping to maintain the excellent standards already in place.

As a Kitchen Assistant, your main duties would involve washing up and general cleaning along with assisting the Chefs in the preparation of food so a knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene would be beneficial.
- Loading and unloading the sanitiser.
- Keep the dish machine clear and report any functional or mechanical problem immediately.
- Preparing food as requested by the Chefs
- Clean and store all kitchenware and front of house crockery and cutlery.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
- Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness for the crockery and cutlery for the front of house team and also the kitchen.
- Ensure that all rubbish is appropriately bagged and removed from the kitchen areas to the designated disposable areas.
- Ensure all crockery items are handled carefully to prevent breakage.
- Clean the food preparation areas and productions areas.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (required)
- Kitchen: 1 year (required)
