**The Role**

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our Manufacturing site in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering **£29,724**per annum and is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern - days

**On Offer**:

- £13.61 per hour (including shift allowance)
- 12 hour shifts, 42 hours per week
- 4 on 4 off - 06:00 and 18:00
- Paid last Friday of each month.

**The Role**

To ensure processes are followed within the warehouse to ensure products are receipted in, stored and despatched to the agreed standards and loading plans whilst keeping our colleagues safe.

**Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver**:

- Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch. Load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading despatch paperwork.
- Unload as and when required all incoming vehicles and rack away the stock following acceptance and GRN generation.
- Receive, organise and store inventory.
- Work in a safe manner at all times ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times and raise any health and safety concerns through the appropriate channels
- Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage by following the appropriate procedure
- Upkeep general housekeeping and practice good hygiene in line with GMP requirements
- Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required. Act as a buddy for new colleagues and provide guidance where necessary.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications of the Production Operator**:

- Experience in a same / similar role within Warehousing
- FLT / Counter balance or reach truck experience is desired **(must be able to provide certificate or license)**but training can be provided.
- A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English
