Job title: Summer Placement - Software

Location: Edinburgh, EH14 4AP

Duration: Placements are available between 6th June and 1st September for a minimum 8-week / maximum 12-week period

**Salary**: £18,000 pro-rata

Overview

Renishaw takes on a number of students during the summer holiday period for between 8 and 12 weeks. Students studying at sixth form or degree level will get the opportunity to develop good practical skills that will prove invaluable throughout any software engineering career.

The majority of placements get involved in a project during their time with us, and projects can be with our Product, Web and Mobile Apps, UI controls, 3D Rendering, Testing or Applications Management teams where you can gain a real insight into working in a software development environment.

What skills and experience do I need?

We are looking for students who are either studying for relevant qualifications in Computer Science or can demonstrate a practical exposure to programming.
