**What you'll work on**

The role is in essence a contract monitoring one, carrying out inspections, identifying disrepair and liaising with the providers of temporary accommodation on behalf of our tenants.

To administer the functions and carry out the responsibilities of the Housing Supply & Projects Team in accordance with Council policies, priorities, procedures and the appropriate legislation.

Post holder's will be placed in a team responsible for designated duties within the range covered by this post as determined by the Housing Supply and Projects Manager in line with fluctuations in work demands and priorities that may change from time to time.

These duties could include: developing links and partnership with private sector landlords, agents and other providers of housing; development of a support and tenancy sustainment service to private sector landlords and tenants; the acquisition of accommodation; client monitoring and compliance with contract arrangements; management and administration of temporary accommodation.

**A few things to note**
- The rate for this role is £22.04 per hour Umbrella
- The term for this role is initially 2.5 months

**What we're looking for**

**KNOWLEDGE**:
1. Marketing techniques and research skills

2. Good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft office.

3. Knowledge of procurement law and contract monitoring

**EXPERIENCE**:
Previous experience in property acquisitions, estate agency or allocations/ lettings

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
1. Strong persuasive and marketing skills

2. Ability to build effective working relationships and gain confidence of a wide range of people

3. Ability to work with minimum supervision

4. Skills and ability to design publicity materials

5. Level of numerical and verbal skills sufficient to enable the post holder to undertake the duties of the post

6. Ability to manage and prioritise Interview workloads and remain calm under pressure
