**About The Home**
Welcome to Tigh Abaid, a large, six bedroomed property is set in almost two acres of land in the village of Langford, in Nottinghamshire, and is just four miles from Newark-on-Trent. Many of the original features of the home have been retained, and the stunning garden is stocked with mature trees and shrubs, with views to the village church and beyond.

**As a Support Worker you will be an integral part of the family at Tigh Abaid, no two days are the same but here is a brief overview of what your day-to-day duties may look like**:

- Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational activities held within the home and wider community. Whether that be a trip to the Safari Park or local restaurants, or heading down the on-site farm to see the therapy animals
- Supporting with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing and meal times, whilst maintaining dignity and respect at all times
- Ensuring our young people are up and ready for the day ahead, this could be for school during term time or a fun filled day of exciting activities within the home or community.
- Ensuring the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the people we support is always at the forefront of what you do, ensuring these needs are recorded accurately and reviewed/changed in line with the needs of the people we support.

**What does my working week look like?**
Week 1: Monday + Tuesday + Friday + Saturday + Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday + Thursday
**Our shifts operate from 07:30 - 20:30 with a 1 hour break**
**You will be required to attend training every 4**th** Friday (6.5 hours paid)*
