Stonewater are on the hunt for a Corporate Communications & Events Executive who will be responsible for supporting and delivering an exciting programme of events for both colleagues and stakeholders.

You’ll play a myriad of professional roles and be an expert at the creative, technical, and logístical elements that help an event succeed. This includes some event design, audio-visual production, scriptwriting, logistics, and some negotiation and clientservice. You’ll aim to deliver events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.

While your role will predominantly focus on events, there’ll also be a requirement for you to support the wider communications team, including writing content for our social media and our internal communications channels.
- Be confident, pro-active, independent and forward thinking.
- Be familiar with event planning and logistics, both in-person and online.
- Have knowledge of a wide range of communications / event platforms and media channels.
- Have excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
- Have exceptional presentation skills, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
- Be a highly organised, self-starter who has a mature approach.
- Be able to engage and interact professionally with others; skilled at building and managing relationships.
- Have the capacity and drive to deliver results to tight deadlines, effectively managing conflicting priorities.
- Understand the significance of delivering a service that meets the diverse needs of staff, customers and wider stakeholders.

A full UK driving licence is essential as the role will involve travel and some out of hours provision to support key industry events.

The role will be home based, but within commuting distance of Reading.
