**Role**:Payments Operations Director

**Salary**:Circa £120,000 - £140,000 + 20% Bonus

**Location**:London

My client rapidly is a rapidly growing financial services organisation who deliver a range of solutions to corporate clients. To support their ambitious plans, they are recruiting for an experienced Payments Operations Director who can maximise their paymentsand payments process capabilities and ensure consistency across all Group businesses.
- As a member of their Executive team, you will ensure efficient operations between client facing roles, middle office and the settlements team in relation to payment operations
- Leadership and strategic direction of the Middle Office and Settlements teams across their UK and European operations
- Responsibility for relationships with their banking partners and correspondent banks
- Lead the implementation and future enhancements of their new internal payments system
- Providing knowledge and advice on payments and banking as part of their expansion plans
- Delivering projects such as new products, services or markets

**Person Specification**
- Significant experience of Payment Operations at a senior level, with the ability to bring best practice ideas to enhance current processes
- Detailed knowledge of international payments systems
- Ideally understand Foreign Exchange and complex derivatives products within the Investment and OTC space
- Extensive experience of managing key, senior banking relationships
- Ability to operate both strategically and get involved 'in the detail’ as required
- Experience of with rolling out new products, improving processes and managing projects
