You will be responsible for supervising our build partners whilst they build our ultra-fast fibre network. The ability to think on your feet and outside the box to provide customers with fibre optic services within the North of England is essential. You will be working closely with the build partners and their respective Civils Crews along with network designers and route planners both in the field and in the offices. If you’re seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced environment then this role could be for you. **Key Responsibilities** - To coach and support the build partner, ensuring any ‘blockers’ to the plan are highlighted and escalated. - Conduct site audits using iAuditor. - Update daily/weekly reports and review against the project delivery milestones, highlighting any risks to the Construction and Build Manager. - Ensure all post installation/as-built documents are completed and checked in accordance with the conditions of the project and client requirements - Consult with the Highways Department, Local Authorities, and other Utilities companies on behalf of Connexin Networks to coordinate works. - Ensure principal contractors have site-specific method statements and risk assessments in place. - Liaise with the public, dealing with any issues that the network construction activities may have caused. **You will help to build the Future of Fibre by**: - Carrying out daily risk assessments relating to site set-up and ensure respective gang(s) have also completed daily risk assessment. - Completing daily audits, analysing, and feeding back results to operational managers including Project Manager, and taking acting where required - Ensuring build remains on target as per completion date, reporting any delays/concerns to the Construction Manager. - Ensuring works are to the correct specifications including documenting and taking pictures, where required - Overall responsibility for the site set-up and ongoing maintenance, with a strong focus on NRSWA compliance. **Essential qualifications, skills, competencies and experience** - Site experience in Telecommunications - Having good IT skills, sound knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word, Visio etc. - Knowledge of Telecoms Network Build would be an advantage - The ability to think on your feet and outside the box to provide customers with fibre optic services within the North of England is essential. - Your ability to travel and drive will be a necessity as the network grows. **Benefits** - Great Culture & Awesome People - 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays - Enhanced Parental Benefits - Employee Referral Scheme - Birthday Day Off - Flexible Working - Cycle to Work Scheme **Equality and Diversity** - Age - Disability - Gender reassignment - Marriage or civil partnership - Pregnancy or maternity - Race - Religion or belief - Sex - Sexual Orientation
