**Group Used Commercial Vehicle Buyer**

OTE: £60,000 + Company car

**Role overview**

Citygate automotive are looking for a Group Used Commercial Vehicle buyer to source vehicles using appropriate methods, proactively seeking new sources of stock as well as attending auctions as and when required online and around the UK to view and purchase used vehicle stock for the group.

**Key responsibilities**

As a Used Commercial Vehicle Buyer your key responsibilities will be:

- To ensure that all the purchasing and selling of used vehicles is completed as per the Company Policy
- To ensure that the value of stock holding does not exceed the budgeted amount.
- To assist with trade disposals & valuations
- To profile used car enquiries in order to match stock against demand.
- To assist the Group Used vehicle team with underwriting part exchanges and ensure full appraisals are completed as required.
- To utilise the database to source suitable stock.
- To establish relationships with local retailers to underwrite suitable stock.
- To ensure the stock is prepared and displayed in line with the Citygate Approved Used vehicle Programme.

**About You**

As the Used Commercial Vehicle Buyer, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

- Knowledge and experience of the retail motor industry, with the ability to accurately value and fully appraise vehicles.
- A customer-centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
- Exceptional customer facing and interpersonal skills.
- An excellent negotiator, confident with the ability to effectively communicate persuasively with others, passing on information accurately and promptly.
- Being Proactive and seeking out new sources of stock outside our current avenues.
