**Salary:£28000**

**Location: Camberley, Surrey**

**Shift Pattern: 10.00pm - 6.30am Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat and Sunday**

They have an excellent opportunity for a Night Shift Supervisor to join their team in Camberley. Our clients team play a vital role in supporting their business to deliver world-class service and time-critical Newstrade to their customers.

Joining their team, you’ll do so much more than you think You will play an integral part in the efficient delivery of their night shift operations, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to create a customer-centric environment and ensure theefficiency of our operations where no two days often provide the same challenge.

You will build and maintain strong working relationships with all colleagues and provide the senior leadership team with operational updates relating to best practices, regulatory updates, training, contractor controls and operational efficiencies.

You will have oversight for a team of night Drivers and Warehouse Operatives for whom you’ll be responsible for coaching, training and motivating. Your team will look for you to develop a culture of success through positive team engagement, great communicationsand hands-on leadership resulting in your team continually delivering challenging Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Ensure the site is managed safely, efficiently and is compliant with all legal requirements
- Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
- Provide 'hand over report’ to oncoming Shift Manager
- Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
- Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
- Define and agree goals (KPI’s), timelines and performance with your team
- Review team performance against agreed goals (KPI’s) through regular 1:1’s, identifying training needs and required support
- Liaise with New Business Partners to develop and integrate new business opportunities

**WHAT YOU NEED**

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics position
- A full and valid UK driving Licence
- Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI’s.
- A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
- A Common-sense approach to problem-solving
- Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
- Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
