City of York Council are currently recruiting for Bricklayers with a passion for Customer Service. If you believe you could be an important addition to our current team of tradesmen and provide exceptional customer care, then please get in touch.
You must have a skill set to be comfortable in working with customers located in Council Housing Stock.
You will be required to have proof of qualifications to undertake the works carried out
You will be pro-active in arranging a first-time fix for CYC dwellings.
In return you will be provided with an excellent salary, works van, PDA, PPE, phone ongoing training in required systems of work.
Working hours will be 08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday and on Friday 08:00 - 15:30.
Required experience:
- Apprentice trained
- Brickwork skills
- Plaster patching
- Working within Social Housing
- Concreting works
- Fencing
- Drainage work
Required licence or certification:
- NVQ Bricklaying or equivalent
- Driving license
