**Credit Controller**
- Finance | Up to £26k p.a. | United Kingdom (Remote - but with a London office if you wish to use it)_

**The Role**:
We’re looking for a tenacious Credit Controller to jump on board and help us achieve our ambitious growth goals. The position will report into the Credit Control Manager and will be based remotely (although we have an office near Old Street Station in London that you are welcome to use).

**What you’ll do**:

- Work towards targets to reduce the aged debt value through continuous debt collecting methods
- Be a point of contact for your ledger. Record, escalate and resolve all customer queries with the relevant departments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Liaise with other members of the Finance, Sales and Operations teams to resolve issues
- Support the cash forecasting process by advising on expected receipts
- Report on debt positions on a weekly basis
- Ad hoc duties as required

**What you’ll need**:

- 1 year+ experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- To be friendly and approachable
- The ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and manage your time efficiently
- Strong numerical skills, and a high degree of accuracy with data
- Ability to use analytical skills to reconcile accounts
- Solid Excel skills (you’ll know a VLOOKUP from a SUMIF)

**Bonus Points**:

- Previous experience with, and knowledge of, Sage
- Previous experience with, and knowledge of, Salesforce
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- You have a dog (which you’d be welcome to bring into the office, as and when you choose to go in)
- Passionate and knowledgeable about climate change, sustainability and/or the EV industry

**Remote First**:

- We’re a “Remote first” company, so we conduct all interviews on Google Meet and are pretty good at onboarding new starters remotely (if we do say so ourselves).
