**What you will be doing**:
In this exciting role at The Spinney, a service for male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness each day brings different challenges and experiences. Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

**Position 1**: 22.5 hours per week, working Tuesday 12:30pm to 8:30pm - Friday 12:30pm - 8:30pm - Sunday 7am to 2:30pm

**As a Receptionist you will be**:

- Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book.
- Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable.
- Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
- Ensuring confidentially and security to the service.
- Ad hoc administration tasks.
- Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.
- Manage deliveries.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have previous experience in a similar position
- Have computer skills
- have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be professional, confident and diplomatic
- have GCSE English Language Grade C or above
- Be efficient and enthusiastic
- Have awareness of understanding confidentiality and security
- Have the ability work alongside a team and independently
- Be welcoming and self-motivated

**Where you will be working**:
**Location**: Everest Road, Atherton, Manchester, M46 9NT

You will be working at The Spinney, a service which offer a range of care settings for male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness. The purpose-built medium, low secure and rehabilitation wards, as well as a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) are all set within an 11 acre site with extensive woodland and landscaped areas.

You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team at The Spinney who have previously been recognised by the Association of Psychological Therapies (APT) for their ability to reinforce positive behaviour, prevention of challenging behaviour and successful interventions in a secure care setting.
