The Treasury Markets Team is a key part of Group Treasury in managing the balance sheet of the group and an enabler for business success. The role of Money Markets Dealer - Treasury Markets is really important to us.

The role will be based out of our London office, however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

Management of the bank’s cash position, reserve accounts, FX exposures and short-term repo activity to achieve budgeted returns within set limits while ensuring that the bank meets its obligations to both internal and external stakeholders in a prudent and well managed manner.

Contributes to Treasury Markets Client Deposit Pricing to achieve budgeted balances and cost of funding, providing back up client coverage as required.

Accountable for the PL and Performance of the Treasury Markets Cash Management activities.

Responsible for the regular review and presentation of the Cash Management Strategies at Monthly Treasury Markets Strategy Review and, when required, Treasury Management Meeting.

To provide markets facing information to the treasury, risk and business teams to assist in the evaluation and control of the Bank’s Treasury cash, reserves, FX and client liabilities pricing and corresponding liquidity and funding risks.

Liaise with Treasury Operations and Financial Control to help maintain high standards of data accuracy, timely settlement and governance of Treasury Cash, FX and Liabilities activities as required.

Degree holder with experience of working within a Treasury function, looking to develop your career.

An analytical, detail oriented mid-set with a particular focus on addressing challenging business issues with innovative and well researched solutions.

An understanding of Bank Treasury and how it interconnects with the organization as a whole.

Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills, a true team player with a client focus.

Highly numerically literate with advanced excel expertise.

Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, especially; Deposit, Money Market and FX products applicable to Cash Management.

An understanding of Securities Financing, Tri-Party Repo, Central Bank Facilities and related products and approaches.
