School Minibus Driver required for a large Secondary School in East Birmingham. This busy academy are looking for a School Minibus Driver to join the team on an ongoing basis. This role requires a minibus driver to collect children from their homes andensure that they arrive to school safely. You will be working closely with a pastoral manager who helps to manage behaviour on the mini bus.
As a Minibus Driver you will be working closely with the attendance officer and pastoral team to collect students who are school refusers. You will be conducting home visits with another member of the pastoral team and will have direct contact with parentsand students. This role requires a Minibus driver who has previous experience working with young people.
Job role:
- Collecting students form homes and ensuring that they arrive at school
- Working with a pastoral manager to manage behaviour on the Minibus
- Visiting students homes to conduct wellbeing checks
- Monitoring attendance for school refusers
- Conducting all relevant safety checks for the school Minibus
