Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm

Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Reporting directly to the Warehouse Team Leader
- Order Picking, packing & despatching
- Goods In - Receiving and checking of deliveries and returns
- Moving stock by hand, pallet truck and electric trucks
- Wrapping of stock on pallets & packing into boxes for safe transport to customer
- Overseeing the Loading & offloading of delivery vehicles
- To deal with incoming and outgoing stock movements using handheld scanners
- Stock audit duties, checking physical stock against the systems
- All general warehouse duties
- Keep all working area’s clean and tidy
- To ensure Team Leader is kept informed of any issues as and when they arise.
- Carry out all departmental tasks as defined by the department Team Leader
- Working to quality standards and working accurately to ensure stock is accurate on the system
- Maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
- Be dependable, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Proactive & hardworking
- Ability to follow instructions with high level attention to detail
- Enjoy working within a team as well as being able to manage individual tasks
- Numerate & able to use (or learn to use) an IT based warehouse system for stock control
- Willing to work in various departments within the warehouse function

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Experience in a warehousing/production or manufacturing environment is desirable
- Minimum GCSE level of Education, including English and Maths to at least grade C or equivalent qualifications.
