We have an exciting full-time position available to be the Marketing and Events Coordinator for a leading events venue and nightclub in Torquay.

This job is suited to fun and outgoing individuals who are passionate about working in the events sector.

The scope of the role covers all elements of delivering a successful event: from the marketing and planning elements prior to the events through to onsite delivery.

This role requires you to be adaptable and have exceptional planning skills. You should have the ability to operate in a productive and enthusiastic manner throughout busy event periods. You will need to be resilient, with the ability to work at pace while managing multiple projects.

As the Marketing and Events Coordinator, you'll be required to:

- Create and deliver internal events in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Liaise with current external event promoters to assist with their marketing requirements.
- Communicate event requirements efficiently to all departments so that the operating areas are aware of what they need to deliver.
- Manage social media content including: sourcing and creating social content, writing supportive copy, adapting social posts to suit brand, scheduling social posts.
- Regularly update website with new content
- Handle customer queries: look out for customer service issues and escalations on social channels and help to solve them
- Stay current with social media trends and incorporate new trends as appropriate to improve the customer experience, drive sales, and leverage ongoing customer involvement
- Research opportunities for new events
- Manage ticketing platforms
- Creation of brand assets, such as event artwork and other marketing material

Key Qualities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of social media platforms
- Good communication and customer care skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Confident to speak up with ideas/questions or concerns
- Ability to manage a budget
- A keen interest in music

**Experience**:
Marketing: 1 years+

Working knowledge of Facebook advertising

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
