Key Account Executive

**Salary**: £40,000 plus car

I am working with a well-known consumer brand who are looking for an enthusiastic person to join their team in this newly created role.

You will be responsible for fulfilling customer needs over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. This role comes with great career prospects and excellent working environment.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

- Liaises with Head of Digital and marketing departments in setting customer targets/forecasts, which should be broken down by product and account
- Liaises with buyers to agree annual sales volumes forecast, and to negotiate any ongoing supply contracts
- Advises on setting terms of trade for each account, and then manages the business to the trade terms
- Conducts negotiations on products, quantities, prices, promotions, special offers, etc.
- Implements the company's sales and marketing programme at the account level
- Negotiates special distribution requirements
- Monitors account profit performance and achieves satisfactory profit contributions from accounts
- Recommends account special promotional activity to the Head of Digital
- Reports market intelligence concerning the account's own strategy and performance, and that of competitor's with the account
- Follows up with accounts to ensure programme implementation, ensuring that all sites receive adequate direct coverage, both personally and with the trade marketing)
- Develops relationships with other account personnel influential in the buying process (e.g. in stock team, managers, decision making unit members, etc.) - this network within major accounts is normally critical to successful business development

This role would suit someone with 2 years+ experience in key account management. This would be a varied role working in a great team and would suit someone who wants to progress long term in to a bigger role.
