Churchfields Care Home is a small friendly home. We offer Nursing & Residential Care for our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lifestyle & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team. This position is a minimum of 40 hours per week over 5 days including every other weekend.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and plan activities for the residents
- Ensure all residents are catered for and involved in activities
- Take pictures of activities and events
- Fulfill requests from residents
- Understand dementia and how to incorporate it into activities
- Research and plan engaging activities for residents
- Source outside services for entertainment or new activities
- Engage with the local community as much as possible
- Stay up to date with milestones and celebrate residents' birthdays by asking them what they want to do
- Stay informed about news and special days such as Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and awareness days
- Be computer literate and willing to complete e-learning training

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential as full training will be given)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with elderly individuals
- Knowledge of dementia care
- Passion for creating engaging and fulfilling activities for residents
- Able to work within a team and individually
