Area Relief Security Officer

We are currently recruiting a number of **Area** **Relief Security** **Officers **to join our Manned Guarding team covering sites across **Greater Manchester.**

Area Relief Security Officers must be available to cover various shift patterns and sites across our client portfolio. In addition, flexibility in their approach to working locations and potential changes to working patterns is essential.

**Please note this is a multi-site vacancy.**

**Hours**:

- Casual - 336 Contract
- Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays
- Regular shifts available

**Pay & Benefits**- £10.42 - £12.00 per hour depending on site covered- Mandatory Training Programme - Completion Bonus

**The Role**:

- To be available as and when called upon to cover shifts, occasionally at short notice.
- To provide sickness, holiday and emergency/ad-hoc cover at various assignments on client sites throughout Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.
- To attend your shift in full uniform in accordance with company, site and client requirement
- To report for duty on time, to complete a full duty handover and receive briefing on any site issues requiring your attention during your shift
- To fully comply with the Site Assignment Instructions (AIs), all site security requirements and duty assignments
- To fully comply and adhere to site specific and general Risk Assessments and Health and Safety requirements at all times
- To fully comply with company booking on/off and check call procedures.
- To ensure all incidents occurring during your shift are recorded within the Daily Occurrence Book, and to ensure all relevant logs are completed in line with the Assignment Instructions
- To deliver and provide excellent customer service to internal/external customer at all times
- To represent the 'ExcluSec' brand and promote a positive image at all times
- To undertake company and site-specific training as/when required
- To adhere to company professional standards at all times whilst on duty.
- ** Any other duties commensurate with the role.**
- Hold a current valid SIA licence (**minimum Security Guarding**) **is essential**:

- An SIA CCTV license **_is preferred_**:

- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle **_is preferred_**:

- Flexible and willing/available to work at short notice (days, nights, evening and weekends) is **essential.**:

- Flexible and professional approach to work is **essential.**:

- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills is **essential.**:

- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is **essential.**:

- Confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations (including those involving conflict) is **essential.**:

- Taking pride in your appearance as well as representing the ExcluSec brand at all times is **essential.**:

- Eligible to work in the UK is **essential.**:

- Have a 5 year verifiable work history is **essential.**:

- IT literate is **essential.**
