**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and well-being.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all children.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills in guiding both children and staff.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and community engagement.

**Qualifications**
- A level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or above in childcare settings is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Proven ability to manage groups of children while maintaining a calm and positive demeanour.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development through play-based learning.
- Leadership skills to inspire others within the team are advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £11.50-£11.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 43 per week
