We are currently looking for a Systems Developer to join our IT team

Your role will be to develop and support systems across the Topps Group of companies. Primarily focused on Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2009, the role will provide support escalation for the IT Service Desk as well as further development in-line with businessinitiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support and Development of the core business systems including Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem
- Consult with customers, design and develop system releases and bug fixes to maximise colleague efficiency and support strategic objectives such as Simplification
- Managing their own workload in order to deliver software releases in line with the deadlines as prioritised by the IT steering group whilst effectively balancing time between change and support activity
- Be responsible for providing technical/functional expertise and working with the IT Service Desk as an escalation on complex tickets with a focus on problem management
- Provide specialist systems expertise to the IT service desk to allow them to resolve issues and grow their own working knowledge of Dynamics
- Contribute in meetings and workgroups where solutions and interfacing requirements are being discussed, providing informed and credible specialist input concerning creativity, costs and timescales.
- Be an approachable and helpful contact for internal customers and providing assistance where appropriate
- Collaborate effectively with internal/external IT teams recognising their role within systems solutions
- Ensure that any 3rd party development work is managed to ensure costs are controlled and in line with the allocated budget
- To ensure that all costs associated with a proposed solution are considered and understood
- Development, testing and deployment of software which automates, streamlines and improves business processes
- Ensure software releases and changes are thoroughly tested and deployed in line with Topps change release process
- Ensure that the implications of a software or process change are fully appreciated prior to the release being considered for approval by the Change Approval Board
- Be responsible for understanding conflicting/overlapping developments to ensure releases are successful
- Providing hypercare support to ensure new releases transition into BAU seamlessly.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required**:
**Essential
- **
- 2+ Years of Developing/Supporting MS Dynamics NAV 2009
- Comprehensive knowledge of Core MS Dynamics NAV 2009 functionality and configuration
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Good timekeeping and the ability to work to tight deadlines when required and managing expectations with honesty and integrity
- Ability to run structured meetings or workshops and to drive quality output
- Build high quality relationships with key stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of IT technologies
- A drive and commitment to deliver quality outcomes

**Desirable**
- LS Retail/Data Director experience
- Dynamics NAV Lanham Warehouse module experience
- Experience working within the retail sector
- Passion for technology
