**HIRE ADMINISTRATOR**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are recruiting for Hire Administrator to work in the dynamic and fast paced vehicle hire department of LCV Hire. Primarily office based in Skewen, Neath, the Hire Controller will be a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service.

Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the Hire department to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers ensure mínimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available vehicles.

There will be times you will be required to help deliver vehicles, so a full clean driving licence is essential.

**DUTIES**:

- Organising and arranging the hire of vehicles
- Arrange on-hires, off-hires
- Providing excellent customer service, taking inbound phone calls from customers regarding bookings and orders
- Creating purchase orders and processing invoices
- Responding to customer queries regarding their orders
- Providing customer quotations and entering onto the system and making sure customer account forms are completed
- Ensuring pricing is correct
- Agree delivery and damage charges with customers
- Assisting in the planning logistics and communicating with drivers
- Creating rental agreements and ensuring all details are accurate and up to date
- Responding to invoice queries
- Ensuring inspection sheets and documentation are completed
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled and meet customer requirements
- Delivering vehicles
- **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience within a similar role - administration and customer service based, preferable hire control
- Excellent Administration Skills
- Strong Communication skills both written and verbal - confident liaising with customers
- Experience of processing orders
- Experience of liaising with customers
- Stock control knowledge
- Full UK Driving license

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
**Working Hours**: 9am to 5pm with flexibility

**Job Type**: Full-time, reporting directly to the Hire Manager

**Salary**:£21,500 to £23,000 per annum

**Other benefits**: 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays), 2 Duvet Mornings, Day off on your birthday, Unlimited Tea and Coffee and additional incentives.
